Thomas Murphy
1. Tell us about your background: I was born and raised in Crofton/Bowie and moved to Baltimore City 12 years ago. I worked at multiple high-end retail establishments before Chesapeake Property Management, and have applied those skills to property management. In my free time I enjoy playing the drums with my band in Baltimore City. I also enjoy being outdoors hiking in Monkton and Shenandoah Valley.
2. What is your role at Chesapeake Property Management? I am a Senior Property Manager. I started with Chesapeake as an assistant six years ago and I now manage over 150 properties in the Baltimore-Metro Areas. I act as the liaison between tenants and landlords and tenants and vendors. I'm here to ensure that our landlords’ largest investments are properly cared for and maintained.
3. What do you enjoy about your job the most? There is a lot to learn from property management and I am always learning something new each day. My favorite part is preparing properties and getting them ready to be rented. I enjoy connecting with our landlords and tenants to ensure they both have a great leasing experience. I treat each home as if it were my own!
